What do you need to bring?

For swimming you need to bring:

  • swimwear
  • swimming goggles
  • swimming cap (in case of long hair)
  • suitable footwear for the pool
  • own locker padlock
  • wristband (which was given to you when you presented the code on your first visit)

What not to forget before your first visit

On your first visit, we ask new members to arrive at the reception approximately 30 minutes prior to the start of the swim and present the code you received via e-mail when you first paid your membership fee during online registration to the reception staff. Based on this code the member will be found in the system and will be given a permanent wristband, which will serve the member to pass through the turnstiles during the entire swimming period / and also in the future (this wristband must be brought to each swim). The wristband is issued to the member free of charge. Parents are encouraged to label this wristband for their child to prevent confusion with another member in the event that they take this wristband off while swimming. Parents are advised that the wristband is for the sole use of the member to whom it was issued on the first visit and that misuse of the wristband by another person may result in termination of the membership. In case of loss or damage of the wristband, the member of the association or his/her legal guardian is obliged to obtain a wristband directly at the reception of the pool operator for a fee of €3. Without a wristband, a member will not be allowed to enter the swim. You can use the indoor underground parking, or parking in the vicinity of Central / Bory Mall shopping centres. Parking in the car park is free for 3 hours from the time of entry, subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant shopping centre. During the holidays, OC Bory Mall is accessible via the underground car park and OC Central via the service entrance located between Jelačičova and Metodova Streets or according to the conditions of the respective shopping centre. Swimming also takes place during holidays and vacations.

Before swimming

Parents are advised to be present at the reception approximately 10 – 15 minutes prior to each swim for which the member is booked (please be punctual for the smooth running of the swim). Under-age members up to 12 years of age wait at the reception for a coach to guide them through the turnstiles to the locker room. Under-age members in the adolescent age group (12 to 18 years of age) go to the locker room and pool independently and report to the coaches at the pool. Non-members and those who have not paid the membership fee for the relevant period are not allowed to enter the sports of the association, nor the changing rooms and the swimming pool. Members use their wristband, which was given to them on their first visit, to pass through the turnstiles located at the reception desk and the pool entrance. Members are allowed through the turnstile at the reception no earlier than 15 minutes before the start of the swim.

After swimming

After swimming (i) coaches escort under-age members of the association up to 12 years of age to the changing room and to the reception and (ii) under-age members in the age group of adolescents (from 12 to 18 years of age) go independently to the changing room and to the reception. We kindly ask the accompanying persons to be present at the outside reception of the establishment on time, no later than 10 minutes after the end of the swim. Members must leave the pool immediately after finishing swimming (after exceeding the time at the pool, the member will be charged an additional fee for the pool according to the current price list of the pool operator). The member must leave the facility by passing through the turnstile at the reception within 15 minutes as of the end of the swim.

Cancelling the swimming / Replacement swimming

A member using the association’s sports is entitled to cancel a swimming booking  up to 6 hours before the start of the swimming session on the day in question. In case of cancellation of a swimming booking, the member is entitled to use the replacement dates (for B1 and C1 membership type we have 3 replacement lessons and for C2, C3 and B2, B3 we have 5 replacement lessons) for swimming in the respective period for which he/she has paid the membership fee (the replacement lessons cannot be used in the following period), while he/she is obliged to book the replacement lessons online in advance. In the event that the replacement lessons cannot be used in the relevant period for capacity reasons, they shall not be carried over to the next period.

The member is obliged to comply with the operating guidelines and other rules of the pool operator and the establishment in which it is located.
