DO NOT LET FLOAT AWAY 2% OF YOUR TAXES

At Golem Royal Sport we bring together members young and old from 4 to 99 years old who love water, starting from non-swimmers, beginners, intermediates up to professionals. You can find us in Bratislava in two modern swimming pools in Central and Bory Mall shopping centres. Thanks to our activity we have taught hundreds of children and adults to love water and master basic swimming skills. We are a proud member of the Slovak Swimming Federation, which allows us to organise competitions and races in the future and thus contribute to building a positive relationship to the sport. This, we believe, has a positive impact on society and/or strengthening the physical and mental health of individuals.

How can you donate 2% of your taxes?

  1. PROCEDURE FOR EMPLOYEES

  1. PROCEDURE FOR NATURAL PERSONS
  • Depending on the type of income you had in 2023, complete a Type A or Type B tax return. Within it, you will also calculate:
    (a) 2% of your tax paid – this is the amount you can credit to Golem Royal Sport. However, this sum must be at least €3.
    b) 3% of your tax paid if you have volunteered at least 40 hours in 2023 you get a certificate from the organisation(s) you volunteered for in 2023.
  • Fill in our data in the relevant fields of your tax return on donating 2% of the taxes:

Name: GOLEM ROYAL SPORT

Address/registered seat: Einsteinova 3541/18 85101 Bratislava

Company identification number: 52395961

Legal form: Civic Association
We will be glad if you also tick in the form the consent to send your data.

  • Deliver the completed tax return by 31 March 2024 to the tax office of your place of residence. You can find the address HERE. You must also pay income taxes by this date.
  • If you have donated 3% of your tax, you must attach to your tax return a Certificate of completing at least 40 hours of volunteer work!

  1. PROCEDURE FOR LEGAL PERSONS
  • Calculate 1.0% (2%) of your corporate tax – this is the maximum amount you can donate to the beneficiary/beneficiaries. The calculated 1% (or 2%) of your corporate tax can be distributed by the legal entity among a maximum of 8 beneficiaries. The minimum amount that the legal person can donate to one beneficiary is €8. ATTENTION! If last year until the deadline for filing your tax return and paying the tax (usually until 31 March) you DID NOT donate at least 0.5% of your tax to a public benefit purpose (our organisation or another organisation), you can donate 1.0% of your tax – you can indicate on your tax return that you are donating 1.0% of your tax. If last year until the deadline for filing your tax return and paying the tax (usually until 31 March) you DONATED funds in the amount of at least 0.5% of the tax to a public benefit purpose (our organisation or another organisation), you can donate 2% of the tax – you will indicate in the tax return that you are donating 2% of the tax.
  • Calculate 1% of your tax paid. If until the deadline for filing your tax return you donate at least 0.5% of your tax to a public benefit purpose, you can help with up to 2% of your tax!
  • If you have chosen more than one beneficiary of the 2%, please provide all the necessary identification details of the beneficiaries and the amount you wish to donate to them in your tax return. Indicate in box 4 how many beneficiaries you want to donate the share of the tax paid to.
  • As mentioned above, both individuals and corporations have the option to check the box on their tax return to consent to the data being sent to Plamienok. Legal persons will find a box to tick in the first line of Part IV of the tax return.
  • Since 2018, legal entities are obliged to communicate with the tax authorities only electronically. A properly completed tax return must therefore be submitted via the electronic system within the time limit you have for filing your tax return, and income tax must also be paid by that deadline.
